Pfeiffer Alumni, you may have seen this event coming up this Saturday. I would like to invite any Pfeiffer Instrumental Alumni to come and play with our Pep Band for the Women’s and Men’s basketball games. If you’re able and would like to play, come to the band room at 12:30pm to get music. We’ll also have some pizza if you’d like to join us. Dust off those instruments and come play. PM me if you think you’ll be coming. Look forward to seeing you.

Update on the day: over 400 people came to our table including parents, teachers, and students. It was exciting to see so many people interested in Pfeiffer University and our music program! Go Falcons!!

I had a great time playing on the Zimmer organ at Calvary Lutheran in Concord as the first of three performers (on three different organs) for tonight’s progressive dinner soonsored by the Charlotte AGO chapter. Many thanks to Zach Bowyer, AGO Sub-dean for the invitation and to Renee Friday for the amazing hospitality at Calvary!

Wonderful morning of collaborative music making at the NC-ACDA conference at Duke University with the Collegiate Festival Chorus. So excited for the concert tonight in the amazing space of the Duke Chapel.

During her time at Pfeiffer College, Cindy Reedy Serbin ’75 double-majored in mathematics and music education, having found in the latter numerous ways to develop her gifts as an organist, a chorister, and a choral director. So, when she learned last fall that Pfeiffer would reinstate the music .....

I had a great couple of days teaching organ building at St. Patrick’s (Charlotte) Summer Music Camp. The kids were engaged, talented, and loads of fun! Congratulations to GianFranco DeLuca for a great program and for a choir that sings like angels!
