All Square at Lefko-Mills Field

Falcons and Wildcats Battle to 1-1 Draw.

Pfeiffer controlled the run of play and outshot JWU Charlotte by a wide margin, but had to settle for a 1-1 draw in non-conference women’s soccer action Wednesday night at Lefko-Mills Field.

The Falcons generated 15 shots and six shots on goal while limiting the visitors to just four total attempts, but JWU Charlotte received a strong performance from goalkeeper Zoe Balmer, who made five second-half saves to preserve the tie.

Quinn Branca answered for Pfeiffer midway through the opening half, converting a penalty kick in the 31st minute to knot the match at 1-1. The penalty kick was earned following a handball by a JWU defender inside their own goal box.

USA South Men’s Soccer Player of the Week ⚽️

Wesley Ho**er, Pfeiffer - The Savannah, Georgia junior forward scored six goals in a 2-0 week for the Falcons. In a 5-1 win over Guilford, Ho**er scored twice, including the eventual game-winning goal. In an 11-1 victory over Averett, Ho**er notched a career-high hat trick plus one with four scores.

MISENHEIMER, N.C. (Sept. 5, 2026) — Pfeiffer scored eight first-half goals and cruised to an 11-1 victory over Averett on Saturday night at Lefko-Mills Field. The Falcons improved to 2-0 with the dominant nonconference win.
