Today, the MSU College of Veterinary Medicine welcomed our new rotating interns to campus!

This group, which consists of both MSU DVM graduates and newcomers to Starkville, will gain valuable continued experience in our Animal Health Center as they further their veterinary careers.

When one-year-old Paris came into the MSU College of Veterinary Medicine Animal Health Center on Wednesday night, she was unable to walk.

Staff members quickly located the cause of this: tick paralysis! A tick was safely removed from Paris’ snout, and by Thursday night, she was walking on her own again and was able to return home to her family.

We love a happy ending and a healthy pet!

After four weeks, seven sessions and more than 200 campers, Vet Camp at the MSU College of Veterinary Medicine has come to an end for the summer.

We hope everyone had an awesome experience, and we enjoyed getting to meet so many eager future veterinarians!
