Throughout this week, we will be highlighting our hardworking student teachers as they complete their final semester under their mentor teachers. Soon they will start their career as agricultural educators, teaching the next generation of leaders! 🦉

🐾MSU Undergraduate Research Symposium🐾

We had two of our Ag Ed students share their knowledge and research at the Undergraduate Symposium this week. Ariana Neal and Sydney Baker showcased their research in technology in the classroom and the perceptions of virtual reality. We also had Riley Smallen, who is also a bright student in the College of Agriculture, share her studies as well. We are so proud of each of these students and wish them the best as they move forward with their education.

Today we are reminded of the impact agriculture has on our daily lives. Be proud of our industry and the hard workers and leaders it produces. As educators we are proud to promote and advocate for agriculture! Thank a farmer!👨‍🌾

As National FFA Week comes to a close, we would like to highlight the importance of this week and the impact it makes on the National FFA Organization members. On Give FFA Day, February 26, 2026, $1,476,957 was donated. Countless visits were made by state and national FFA officers, and lives were impacted across the country. Today, Wear Blue Day, we honor the blue corduroy jacket that so many members wore before they started their journey to become agricultural educators. We hope everyone has had a blessed FFA week, and the importance of the blue and gold we hold so close to us throughout our careers stays on your mind. 💙💛

NAAE & ACTE National Convention 2025 is in the books! There may not be many photos but the experience was plentiful. Our 5 MSU AG ED Preservice Teachers gained exemplary knowledge and insights attending the NAAE Future Agriscience Teacher (FAST) Program, as well as attended many other professional development workshops. From classroom and stress management to learning how to make sausage, these students are returning home with some awesome tools to bring with them into their careers.

The food was amazing, the people were awesome, and the trip was unforgettable. Thank you to everyone who made this trip possible!
