While we often highlight our graduate training opportunities, Mississippi State University also has a thriving and growing undergraduate program in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with over 75 undergraduate students working on their minor or their major in ABA!

One exciting opportunity within our undergraduate programming is the MSU PATH Training Program, which helps prepare the next generation of ABA professionals across Mississippi through supervised fieldwork, mentorship, professional development, and partnerships with schools and community agencies statewide.

This week, we will be highlighting our 2025-2026 MSU PATH Trainees who just completed the training program! And, lucky for us, many of these students are sticking around to pursue their master's degree with us in the Fall!

📈PUBLICATION ALERT📈

Congratulations to Cassidy Wells on her publication in Behavioral Interventions titled "Using a Simple Reinforcement-Based Intervention to Improve Performance on Reading Comprehension Assessments"! Cassi is a resource and inclusion classroom teacher who graduated from our MSU Applied Behavior Analysis program and she completed this data-based project that turned into a really neat Brief Practice publication.

This publication is a great example of a true contextually appropriate intervention - fully implemented by a teacher, at a school, in the context of regularly occurring classroom activities. A true example of using effective behavioral intervention in a context where it is truly needed! Great job, Cassi for your hard work on this project!
