MSU Regulation & Resilience Community-engaged research/training/services promoting child/family emotion regulation & resilience.

Clinical psychology lab at MS State University Department of Psychology advocates for healthy child development via research, education, consultation, and workforce development with child-serving professionals. Projects focus on the individual, family, and community variables that promote emotion regulation and resilience. Our work connects a network of caregivers and professionals with skills and

This playlist contains children's story book videos compiled to support implementation of the 2-4-2 Book Project in our Oktibbeha County Youth Court. A component of Zero-to-Three's Safe Baby Court , 2-4-2 promotes healthy attachment and reading, both essential for children's brain development and relational health. The biological parent and the foster parent each get a copy of the same book so that the child can have reading time via video-call between the foster home and their non-custodial parent. The books featured here are particularly relevant for families involved in child protection. The topic is not as important as connecting well with the child during frequent reading calls on routine schedule.
