For our next we have our Director of Programming, Grahm Torrey! Grahm is from Flowood Mississippi majoring in English and minoring in Political Science.

“The Student Association makes an active difference on Mississippi State’s campus. I love the opportunity to provide the student body with campus programming that students want to participate in. The Student Association has shown me how to listen to the student body, and advocate for them. I enjoy planning events with other students, so that the students can enjoy their campus. I want students to come to events and meet other students, and get connected at State! The Student Association is a group of hardworking individuals who will always make sure that the students are heard. I get to do this while working alongside my best friends!”

Through it, I’ve learned how to lead with purpose, collaborate across different perspectives, and navigate the realities of policy and implementation. SA has pushed me to think beyond myself and focus on building a stronger Mississippi State University. The friendships and experiences I’ve gained have challenged, sharpened, and prepared me for the kind of work I want to do long-term.
