Heads up, Bulldogs! 📢

If you are a Mississippi resident who receives State of Mississippi Financial Aid, those awards will not appear on next week's billing statement.

There's no need to worry! State aid awards are still being processed by the Mississippi Office of Student Financial Aid. As soon as Mississippi State University receives notification of your award, it will be applied to your MSU account as a pending payment.

Please continue to monitor your MSU account as well as your MAAPP Portal for updates.

On July 4, 2025, President Trump Signed the One Big Beautiful Bill Act making significant changes to the federal student aid programs effective July 1, 2026. The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships encourages all students and their families to review these changes and consider how these changes may affect financial planning for the upcoming academic year.
