EVST is hiring a full-time Assistant Teaching Professor in Indigenous Environmental Studies. We seek a candidate with broad interdisciplinary expertise related to Indigenous perspectives on the environment, environmental justice, and environmental ethics. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Indigenous knowledge, including traditional ecological knowledge, Indigenous land stewardship, Indigenous research methodologies, Indigenous environmentalism, tribal-federal co-stewardship, rights of nature, or other closely related area.

Learn about graduate student Nari Lee and her impact on conservation.

Nari Lee, a grad student from Korea, has continued to expand her world at the University of Montana.

“I feel like UM is the perfect fit where I can pursue all my passions,” Lee said. “I may seem scattered in all these different areas, but here it’s more flexible for me to do that.”

Her many interests include biodiversity and creating more gender equity in conservation fields.
