The Mexico Practical nursing students have entered their final semester and we took time this past week to review some of our nursing skills through a Skills Fair. The students performed great! And a huge shout out to our instructors! Micheal and Lindsay who do an amazing job teaching these hands on skills.

The Mexico Practical Nursing Coordinator attend the career day at North Callaway Highschool. We were accompanied by Payon Altiser - Sim Coordinator, Tanna Whitworth - Assistant, & Faith Cash - current PN student.
During the fair, we walked students through our VR simulation, taught them how to obtain a blood pressure, and discussed the different stages of pressure ulcers.

Congratulations to our incredible LPN-to-ADN bridge students!

​Today, our students presented their Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) projects, and the level of dedication and clinical insight on display was truly impressive. These projects represent months of hard work, research, and a commitment to improving patient outcomes and the future of nursing.

​Watching these students bridge the gap between their current expertise and their new roles as ADNs is an inspiration. They navigated complex clinical questions with professionalism and passion and they did a wonderful job!
