Congratulations to all the students, faculty, and student organizations who were nominated and those who received awards at the Student Organization Leadership Awards Ceremony. Your hard work, leadership, and impact on campus are truly worth celebrating.

So many students are making a meaningful difference on campus and in the Mobile community. That’s one of the best parts of Spring Hill College. There are countless opportunities, and students are able to create their own path and make it their own.

The SHC Business Club, established in 2017, was recognized with Outstanding Student Organization and Outstanding Campus Program awards for its annual Spring Fling. Spring Fling has been a part of campus for the past eight years, and many students have played a role in building it into what it is today: hosting guest speakers, developing events and fundraisers, creating t-shirts, organizing fun shopping trips, and more.

We also want to congratulate Dr. Stephanie Gapud, recipient of the Reverend Gregory P. Lucey, S.J., Cura Personalis Award. Her philosophy reflects the Jesuit principle of cura personalis, which emphasizes care for the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.

We are excited to see how students continue to grow, lead, and make an impact.

Good luck on exams, Badgers 📝💜Finish strong—you’ve put in the work, now go show it.

Celebrating a Graduating Senior

As graduation approaches, we’re excited to highlight Digital Marketing major Ryan Carver, who has been working as a social media intern with the Division of Business and Communication Arts.

During his time with us, he supported the development of social media content, gaining hands-on experience in effectively engaging an audience and communicating across platforms. He also brought experience from internships with Restore Mobile and Mobtown Burger Week, where he worked on event marketing and community outreach, building practical skills in reaching and connecting with a broader audience.

Throughout his internships, he said, "he developed an understanding that digital marketing is more than just content creation. It requires analytical thinking, adaptability, and the ability to approach challenges that don’t always have a single clear solution."

We appreciate the work he’s done during his time here and wish him the best as he continues to grow his skills and explore opportunities in digital marketing.

Congratulations on your upcoming graduation!

We’re celebrating a big win for our senior business students!

At Honors Convocation on Friday, April 24, several of our seniors were recognized for their hard work, leadership, and achievements. We couldn’t be prouder of everything they’ve accomplished during their time here.

A special shoutout to Professor John Eads, who received the Reverend H. J. F***t, S.J. Award—an honor presented by the Student Government Association to a faculty member who goes above and beyond for students outside the classroom.

This is what it’s all about—students and faculty making an impact together. Congrats to everyone!

Thank you to Enterprise Mobility—Laura, Nic, and Lacy—for visiting Spring Hill College and connecting with our students.

We really appreciated the time you took to share your experiences, offer advice, and give an inside look at your team and company culture. It made for a strong presentation and an even better conversation afterward.

Our students were engaged, asked thoughtful questions, and got a lot out of the experience. Y’all were a dynamic trio—we’re grateful you spent time with us!
