As one of USA's traditional residence halls, Stokes Hall features 330 suite-style rooms for freshmen & sophomores, 1 classroom, 8 study lounges, 2 multipurpose rooms, TV lounges on all 4 floors, and a large laundry room. arge laundry room. A Faculty in Residence lives in Stokes Hall along with Residence Life staff. This increases faculty and student interaction and promotes academic integration throughout the residential experience. Multiple Learning Communities (LCs) are included in Stokes Hall for those that are interested in improving their overall academic experience. The fourth floor boasts views of the iconic Moulton Belltower, the new Dining Hall (Fresh Food Co.), the Mitchell Center, and the Student Recreation Center. The Stokes Hall Community is considered part of the Northwest Area of Housing & Residence Life. The Stokes Hall Community Office is located inside the front doors of Stokes Hall with the staff being accessed through the front desk. Routine matters should be handled during business hours which are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday; however, there is a staff member available or “On Duty” to assist with emergencies at any time. The Stokes Hall Community Office is prepared to assist with maintenance requests, housing questions, room change requests, concerns, and lock-outs for residents of this community. The Stokes Hall Community Director’s office is located behind the front desk of Stokes Hall. If they need the CD outside of these office hours, the office staff or RA On-Duty can assist them with getting connected.
