Hey everyone, as many of you know Hurricane Micheal has affected the lives of our neighbors in and around Panama City. It is estimated that they will be without power for the next two months. There is a critical need for many everyday supplies along with helping hands to assist in cleaning up the tons of debris left behind. The Sigma Chi chapter at South Alabama is planning to deliver supplies and assist residents with the clean up of their homes all day Saturday October 20th. Although Sigma Chi has volunteered to deliver the supplies and help with the cleanup; we would like to extend the offer to anyone who has the desire to help out the families in Panama City by donating supplies. Donations can be in the form of supplies such as water, batteries, gasoline, cleaning supplies, toiletries, hand sanitizer, any canned food item, along with other things. These donations can be made by bringing them directly to the Sigma Chi house and placing them on the picnic tables in the back courtyard anytime during the week. We are also looking into the possibility of continuing to providing support to this community over the next couple of months and will post updates as that time comes.
