Woodburn Royal Arch Chapter #29 The Ancient York Rite is the oldest of the rites. These degrees are the gateway to Temple restoration rituals or the Second Temple Legend.

A chapter of Royal Arch masons, carries the student on through the destruction of the Temple of Solomon; through the captivity to the building of the second temple by true descendants of the twelve tribes. Cryptic Masonry is the third part of the York Rite system of Masonic degrees, and the last found within the Rite that deals specifically with the Hiramic Legend. The body itself is known as a Council of Cryptic Masons.

This weekend, The Grand Scribe, and past HP of Woodburn will venture to Union Or., to asist in the conferral of six Candidates for the the York Rite degrees and orders. There will also be conferals in Albany this weekend!

The Grand High Priest will soon allow in person Meetings following the Grand Master's and Oregon's Governor's guidelines.

During this time of self sequestering, take a few moments to review our ritual, prepare for the future, and give thanks to our creator, for he is with us in this time of travail.

Our Grand Session has been postponed as of now, 3/29/2020, and will be rescheduled when possible. Call a fellow companion, learn a part in our ceremonies, improve your life, and if you have a significant other, give them thanks for their patients, especially with you.

Tonight, Companion Sharp will be addressing the brethren of Ainsworth Lodge in Salem, Or. and informing them about the York Rite. Try to attend and show support for this important part of Masonry.

The December meeting will be the official visit of Companion Jerry Mucius, the representative of the Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Internationale.

There will be a no host dinner in honor of this distinguished Companion. The dinner will be held at El Charito Mexican Reseraunt, 117 E, Main St. Molalla Or at 6pm December 10th.

Please join with us in welcoming this charming companion to our chapter.

Companion Musius, a marine veteran, was chosen to represent all veterans at this past years Buckeroo.

The Chapter meeting will follow at 7:30 pm at the Molalla Lodge.

This weekend, November 3rd, C.J. and Juan were conferred the MEM degree in St. Hellens. The degree was well done and all in Costumes appropriate to the offices.
The Royal Arch degree will be conferred in Molalla on Monday the 12th.
