Boatman is an investment advisor representative and follows the fiduciary responsibility of that position. Boatman is a graduate of Robert Morris College and earned a master’s degree in Business Administration from Youngstown State University. After completing a two year program from the College for Financial Planning, Boatman passed the extensive test to become a Certified Financial Planner. He h

as continued his education through a wide variety of continuing education classes and participation in national training sessions. Included in these conferences was two days spent training with Ed Slott, who is recognized as America’s expert on IRAs. He is also a licensed by the State of Pennsylvania’s Insurance Department. As the weekly columnist of Your Financial Future, Boat­man helps to explain Wall Street to Main Street and pro­vides educational advice to his readers. Helping the community avoid financial pitfalls is one of the objectives of the column. Boatman has conducted many educational workshops at senior centers, talked to high school classes and developed and taught a financial planning course at Allegheny County Community College. Boatman serves as President of the Greater Monessen Chamber of Commerce and is involved in many activities throughout the community.
