Enrollment is closing fast for Scott Regional Technology Center's fall Community Education courses, with the final deadline to register coming up this Monday, September 14th.

This is your final opportunity to secure your spot in our upcoming evening classes. Whether you are looking to upgrade your professional technical skills or explore a new creative hobby, we have options starting next week.

Here is a look at our upcoming fall schedule:
- Intro to Machine Tool: Starts Tuesday, September 15th. Meets Tuesdays from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM for 8 weeks. Tuition is $125.

- AS400 Part 1: Starts Thursday, September 17th. Meets Thursdays from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM for 13 weeks. Tuition is $350.

- Basic AutoCAD: Starts Thursday, September 17th. Meets Thursdays from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM for 8 weeks. Tuition is $125.

- Ceramics: Starts later in the term on Tuesday, November 3rd. Meets Tuesdays from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM for 6 weeks. Tuition is $100.
*Please note that Intro to ILE/RPG Programming Part 2 will be held during the Spring semester.*

We’re always excited when a former student comes back to Scott Tech, but having them return as a member of our staff is extra special!

Please help us welcome Claudia back to Scott Tech! She’s gone from being one of our students to now helping inspire and prepare the next generation of Scott Tech students. We couldn’t be more excited to have her back here and on our team!

We’re excited to welcome Claudia Cruz to Scott Regional Technology Center as our new Scott Health Occupations/CNA Instructor!

Claudia is looking forward to inspiring students to discover their passion for healthcare while building the knowledge, confidence, and compassion needed to care for others. Her goal is to create a supportive and engaging classroom where students develop critical thinking and real-world healthcare skills that prepare them for meaningful careers in healthcare. She also looks forward to building strong partnerships with the community and local healthcare organizations to connect students with real-world experiences that strengthen their knowledge and skills.

As a registered nurse with a passion for teaching, Claudia is excited to become part of Scott Regional Technology Center and help students grow both personally and professionally.

Graphic Design students got hands-on experience learning how to set up lighting, work with posing, and create a professional photo setup—while our DECA students stepped in front of the camera and looked sharp!
