Please join us on Monday, December 1, for an Emeritus Society presentation by alumnus David Heil '79. He will reflect on his 50-year career as a scientist, educator, TV personality (host of the Emmy Award-winning PBS science series Newton’s Apple), museum administrator, author, and global consultant.

The presentation will be held in the Columbia Room in the Werner University Center (WUC). Coffee and socializing will begin at 1:00 PM. The program will begin promptly at 1:30 PM.

The Emeritus Society is a group of friends of Western Oregon University who enjoy learning new things and exploring their community. They meet the first Monday of each month during the academic year and also engage in other activities including field trips.
