Some stories begin in a classroom and leave a lasting impact for generations. For Barbara and Kenneth Billings, Western Oregon University was where their journey together began.

We’re proud to celebrate their story and the lasting difference alumni can make in the lives of future Wolves.

Wolves teaching Wolves! 🐺 We often learn best from our own alumni, and this month's Emeritus Society meeting proved exactly that.

Retired WOU Chief Information Officer, Bill Kernan '87, and current Chief Information Security Officer, Michael Ellis '02, teamed up to present to a crowd of over 40 attendees. They shared essential insights on the everyday uses of AI and practical strategies to keep your data safe online.

Thank you to our incredible alumni for continuing to lead, teach, and give back to the Western Oregon University community!

This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Gil Nichols back to campus!

Gil visited with his wife and son while traveling through Oregon and Washington, all the way from Kansas. He shared fond memories of his time at WOU more than 50 years ago, when he completed a summer graduate-level program in 1972.

Thank you for stopping by, Gil, and for continuing to be a proud Wolf!

This is what Wolf pride looks like. Supporting communities, strengthening our state, and creating opportunities for the next generation.

It’s been a busy weekend for the the Wolves!

We kicked things off Friday night with our second Alumni and Friends Night at the Ballpark, where we we gathered to cheer on the Hillsboro Hops. It was especially fun to work with WOU Alum Johnny Harvey, who helped coordinate the evening from the Hops organization. It’s a great reminder of how our alumni continue to support and strengthen the WOU family!

Then today we joined the Dallas community for the annual Dallas Days Parade, celebrating alongside students, alumni, family and friends.

Thank you to everyone who came out, stopped to say hello, or waved as we passed by. We love bringing the WOU community together and can’t wait for our next summer events!
