Monmouth College Raíces Raíces is a Latinx student organization that provides educational, cultural, and social events to the community of Monmouth.

Raices is a Latino Student organization that creates educational, social, and cultural events for those who would like to attain knowledge about Latino culture. In addition, Raices contributes their services to Monmouth college and Monmouth's community.

Part of Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrating the independence of many Hispanic countries!

One of the countries we celebrate today is México. In 1810, Miguel Hidalgo gave a shout which resulted in the beginning of a war for independence. Each year, the President of México rings the same bell Miguel Hidalgo did and waves the country’s flag. 🇲🇽
