We are writing with heavy hearts to share that we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2026 Early Childhood Inclusion Summer Institute.

This decision did not come easily. The Summer Institute has always been more than an event to us — it has been a gathering of amazing people who care deeply about inclusion, collaboration, and creating better outcomes for young children and families. Over the years, each of you has played a role in shaping what the Institute became, and we are incredibly grateful for that.

To our participants, presenters, and community partners: thank you. Thank you for showing up with curiosity, generosity, and commitment. Thank you for sharing your expertise, your experiences, and your passion. Your support and partnership have meant more to us than we can fully express, and the impact of this community will stay with us.

While we are disappointed that we won’t be coming together in 2026, we remain deeply appreciative of the relationships built through this work and the shared mission that connects us. We are thankful for your understanding and for the trust you have placed in us over the years.

With sincere gratitude,
Cindy, Maria, Caitlin and the rest of our amazing team

A nuestros participantes, ponentes y socios comunitarios: gracias.

We share Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s dream of a world where there is respect and justice for all. May we never forget him and the timeless contributions he left to the world, of courage, hope, and above all, love. ❤️

Fifty years ago today, IDEA changed everything. Today we join our fellow advocates in honoring this law by condemning the use of words that are disrespectful and demeaning. Belonging Matters!

Today we are highlighting our Weds., August 6th conference events. We started our day with our amazing keynote speaker, Ms. Kisa Marx, and then continued the good vibe with workshops, lunch from Koyotes, and more workshops. Our Exhibit Hall was buzzing with activities, raffles for the our scholarship fund, and vendors...Barefoot Books, Kaplan, Adapted Toys by Beth, and Piel Canela.

How did we squeeze so much fun and learning into one day? We did it with outstanding participants, tireless volunteers, and phenomenal presenters.
