Title for Sustainability Talk series presents Optimism for Climate Solutions: How the new US Climate Law could be a game Changer presented by our guest speaker Carla Wise.
……………

The Inflation Reduction Act, passed in August 2022, is the biggest climate action the US has ever taken by far. Yet most Americans say they have heard very little or nothing about it. Carla will talk about what’s in the new law, and why it matters. She’ll explain how it is expected to work, how you will benefit from its provisions, and the biggest uncertainties about its impacts going forward.

Optimism for Climate Solutions: How the new US Climate Law could be a game Changer event will take place at Werner University Center in the Columbia room , Wednesday May 3rd at 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

What if we told you that your gift of $34.50 could be instantly doubled (or tripled)?

Thanks to the WOU Foundation Finance and Planned Giving Committee, the first 60 unrestricted gifts of $34.50 or more between now and noon will have another $34.50 added to them.

And guess what? If you're a first-time donor, you can TRIPLE that gift! Thanks to alumnus Mike Holland, any gift from someone who hasn't given to WOU before will be matched (all day up to the first $1,000). This is a great time to make your first gift. Giving $34.50 or more can be (at least) tripled!

This is such a great way to make your gift go even further! wou.edu/give

The purpose of the study was to evaluate the relative importance men and women place on a potential mate's facial vs. bodily attractiveness in a forced choice situation.
