Senior Spotlight Time!

Cassandra Nolasco is a Biochemistry and Neuroscience double major here on campus. After graduation, she’s going to attend the University of Illinois Chicago to obtain her PhD in chemistry with a concentration in neuroscience. Her favorite memory from Alpha Xi was having the most spirit at our Wicked themed Greek Week.

Cassandra’s advice to her fellow sisters is this:

“always check in on your sisters whenever possible. this is your found family, cherish each other for as long as you can.”

Senior Spotlight Time!

Kamea Graham is a Biochemistry major here on campus. After graduation, she plans to work as a laboratory technician for a year before applying to graduate school. Her favorite memory from Alpha Xi was Karoke for a Cause where she had an amaXing time performing Daddy’s home by Usher with her Xisters.

Kamea’s advice for her sisters is this:

“In a world of thorns, always choose to be a pink rose. Keep growing in realizing your potential, and watering our sisterhood so others can do the same. 💛🩵💙 TFJ“

Senior Spotlight Time!

Natalia Godina is an Educational Studies major here on campus. After graduation she plans to get her Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Her favorite memory from Alpha Xi Delta was attending the recruitment workout in North Carolina this past summer.

Natalia’s advice to her sisters is this:

“Never say no to plans! Cherish the time you have with one another because it goes by quickly.“

Come get a bowl of Mac and Cheese with us to support The Kindly Hearts Initiative! Our philanthropy helps to support teens and children in foster care or who are experiencing homelessness.

This event will be held Wednesday, May 6th in The Veterans Memorial Great Room located in the CSB from 1-3:30pm. $5 for a bowl.

Senior Spotlight Time!

Alyssa McDaniel is a Biochemistry and Health Science double major here on campus with a minor in Psychology. After graduation she will be taking a gap year to do medical assisting before heading to medical school. Her favorite memory from Alpha Xi was finding some sisters downstairs in the house and joining in on singing karaoke with a disco ball light going off.

Alyssa’s advice for her fellow sisters is this:

“Find time to have spur of the moment road trips and karaoke sessions, even if you don’t usually “hang out” with those specific sisters because those moments create the long lasting bonds that sisterhood is all about.“

Today marks our 133rd Founders’ Day!

Alpha Xi Delta means so much to us all which makes today such a special day for every Alpha Xi sister out there!

On this day, we celebrate the women who came before us and who founded our loved Fraternity. With this, it reminds us where our roots began to grow, and how we’ve continued to blossom through Alpha Xi Delta.
