The Black Student Union at ULM

The Black Student Union at ULM The purpose of the Black Student Union is to foster student growth and development through diversity
(1)

The Black Student Union is a cultural and social group, that was created to be a central hub to connect Black/African American students on campus. Through social events, discussion panels, and community service, the BSU is welcoming to all students who want to embrace Black culture, lifestyle, and history. The Black Student Union also serves as the direct liaison to ULM Administration regarding th

e voice of Black Students. We hope to encourage black students to learn more about their racial identity, educate the campus on personal and systemic anti-Black racism, and advocate for institutional change. We strive to unite our leaders by cultivating cultural awareness. Our programs serve as a catalyst for personal and professional development.
