4-H State Congress is just around the corner. We are seeking donations to add to the hospitality suite to reward these hard working 4-Her's from across the state. Items must be individiually wrapped and include a list of ingredients. Prepapacked snacks and drinks would be great or money to purchase items.

Pickelball a weigh is back on! After a minor scheduling issue, we are excited to announce the return of our highly successful Pickleball A Weigh Program!

Pickleball a weigh is an adaptation of UGA’s award winning Walk a Weigh program. This program is opend to players of all skill levels and instructors will be available to help newer players. Family and Consumer Science Agent Jake Conner, will offer a different class each week to provide you with the skills to improve your food intake, become more physically active and adopt the health habits that will allow you to stay happy and healthy for a long time.

Never played Pickleball? Our volunteers are ready to get you in the court!

This series will begin on Wednesday, June 10th at 5:30pm. We will have a short nutrition lesson followed by aprox 75 minutes of pickleball

When: Wednesdays, Beginining June 10th
Time: 5:30PM-7:00PM
Where: Nowell Recreation Center (Back)
201 W Spring Street, Monroe, Georgia
Cost: Free
Program Length: 12 weeks
Required: Walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing
