Last Friday evening, Phi Alpha Theta hosted a series of Among Us-style games on the second floor of Walker Hall. The imposters won the first round, but the team triumphed in the second two. Thanks, Phi Alpha Theta officers--especially Anna Batten--for putting it together!

Some of our members, I know, have done great work and would have superb presentations!

Congratulations to Ireland Aaron, Mateline Bratton, and Antoine Iles for the excellent papers you presented at the Phi Alpha Theta Regional Conference in Lafayette, LA, on March 6! Their paper titles were as follow:

*Aaron, “Queens of Desire: How the Madams of Storyville Weaponized Mixed-Race Fantasies for Power and Profit”
*Bratton, “Between Saints and Sickness”
*Iles, “Coca-Cola and the American Dream: How the Biedenharn Family Rose to Fame”

Several of the professors and graduate students in attendance were highly complimentary and remarked that the conference as a whole was excellent. One historian stated that it was the best Phi Alpha Theta Conference he had attended "in at least the last thirty years."

Well done!
