SSS is designed to help 140 first generation students successfully graduate from ULM and transition into the professional workforce or graduate school. Realizing that no two students have the same experiences, our staff is dedicated to helping participants with their individual needs. Eligibility criteria:
• First-generation college student (neither parent graduated from a four-year college)
• Be within federal income guidelines and/or
• Have a documented disability on file with ULM’s Counseling Center

In addition, all participants must meet ALL of the following requirements:
• Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
• Demonstrate an academic need
• Be enrolled full-time as an undergraduate student at ULM
