We just wrapped up choir tour this week! The ULM Choral program is so excited to tour and share the gift of signing to high schools across Louisiana and we oh so hope to see new warhawks next fall.

The summer is over and we have all returned to the choir room! As usual, we have so many events on our choral calendar planned for the fall that we’ll be posting about as the semester unfurls. Most notably, we have choir tour, some ACDA events, and the Durufle Requiem!

We have an interest meeting planned for this Sunday, September 8th, in the choir room (BIED 249). If you’re even slightly considering even just coming to say hi don’t be shy!

We met plenty of incoming freshman interested in what's going on in the choral world at ULM at our booth set up for ULM Prep! This fall semester is going to be stuffed with new faces in Biedenharn. We would like to extend an invitation to Ryan Kersh’s Benefit Recital hosted by Northminster Church, next Sunday, July 21st at 3:00pm.

Ryan is our social media chair and one of the biggest choir nerds you can find in our organization. He is such a big choir nerd, in fact, that he wants to become a choral music composer. This concert is to help benefit him in coming back to the music program this fall. Please consider showing your support to Ryan and by extent ACDA and attend his recital!

Hello everyone! This is just our first post saying hi as the new social media account for ACDA at ULM! You might be wondering what this means and who we are- let us explain!

ULM ACDA is the American Choral Directors Association student organization at the University of Lousiana at Monroe. ACDA is a non-profit organization representing over 20,000 choral directors and well over a million singers with annual conventions for promoting choral music throughout the year. We are the biggest choir nerds you’ll find on campus and we’re here to not only promote choral singing at the university, but to also create a fun atmosphere for ULM singers and anyone else who wants to hang with us.

We have plenty of events planned for both the fall and spring semester that we’ll unveil as time goes on. Please stay tuned to hear about our antics and show us your support by sharing our page! We hope you enjoy what is to come from our hard work.
