Introducing the Miss Monroe County Sparkles Program ✨

Sparkles is an inclusive, confidence-building experience for girls ages 8 and up with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This program was created to provide a supportive space where every participant can build confidence, form meaningful connections, and experience her own special moment in the spotlight

Participants will take part in a guided rehearsal and then be celebrated on stage as part of the Miss Monroe County’s Teen Pageant, surrounded by encouragement, joy, and the support of our community 💛

To participate, a parent or guardian will complete a simple application and submit a brief note from a healthcare provider, educator, or specialist confirming eligibility

This inaugural program is all about creating a place where every girl feels seen, supported, and truly celebrated

Applications are now open, and we're only accepting the first TEN entries! We cannot wait to welcome our very first Sparkles ✨
