Sigma Sigma Sigma (Tri-Sigma) is an international sorority founded on April 20, 1898. Their colors are Royal Purple and White, the jewel is the pearl, and the symbols are skull and cross bones and the sailboat. The lovely sisters of Sigma Sigma Sigma pride themselves on conduct, intelligence, scholastic achievement, and strong womanly character. With chapters all over the world, including 6 chapte
rs in New Jersey alone, we are one of the most well established sororities in the country. Tri-Sigma has over 100 international chapters and over 100,000 collegiate members. With our networking opportunities, sisters throughout the world can be accessed through a members only database, Sigma Connect, which will not only allow you to connect with friends but also to improve your chances in the competitive world outside of college. Alumnae Relations are very important to our chapter, and we make great efforts to keep in contact with graduates via newsletters and Sigma Connect. On our campus, Tri-Sigmas participate in a variety of campus activities such as Relay for Life, Special Friends Day and other community service projects. Sisters are on Rec-Board, Board of Trustees, performers at Kasser Theatre, members of honor fraternities, MSU Fashion Club, and on athletic teams. Each semester Tri-Sigma hosts Cabaret for a Cause or Miss-ter Tri Sigma. Cabaret for a Cause is a cabaret style event where local performers, poets and bands all join together to raise money for whatever cause the chapter has chosen that semester in conjunction with our Philanthropy, The Robbie Page Memorial. Cabaret for a cause has become one of the biggest greek sponsored programs on campus and our biggest event as a chapter!
