Success, Engagement & Retention of Veterans in Engineering & Science. (SERVES). The SERVES program is an NSF grant awarded program at ELAC that aims to increase the success of Student Veterans in completing their STEM degrees and transferring to a four-year university.
Yesterday, our ELAC Veterans had the unique opportunity to tour several labs & VRC at UCLA. Thank you to Dr. Kasko, Dr. Tripati, Dr. Ives & the .in.stem team for welcoming our Student Veterans.

Please join us for our Military Dependents Workshop on Dec 7th. Our workshop will cover different benefits and resources available to dependents & spouses. Benefits that will be covered are Cal Vet Fee Waiver, Chapter 35 educational benefits, and a presentation from Anthony Rodriguez, the Cal Vet Local Interagency Network Coordinator for Los Angeles. Mr. Rodriguez will provide an overview of the VA disability claims process and will answer questions from all participants. Attendees who RSVP by December 5th will be provided with complimentary lunch. Hope to see everyone there!

Happy Turkey Week! We wanted to give you a friendly reminder of our Thanksgiving Week VRC hours. We will be open virtually from 9am-5pm on 11/21-23. We will be closed from 11/24-25 and we will be back to normal business hours on the 28th. Have a fun and safe Thanksgiving holiday!!!
