However, with the exception of our guest speakers, the events hosted by the ELAC HIT Club are only for current ELAC students, ELAC alumni, and ELAC Staff Members ONLY. No other individuals in the public are allowed to attend, including individuals who attend or have graduated from
other schools, unless otherwise specified. If you have graduated from another CAHIIM-Accredited school, you can keep current and network with the HIM professional community by joining the national, state, and local professional associations. The national association is the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), and the component state association (CSA) is the California Health Information Association (CHIA).
