The University of Montevallo's Board of Trustees voted to approve Dr. Michelle Johnston as the school's next president, also meaning the school's first woman president, according to a spokesperson for the university. Johnston has served as president at three other institutions.

We just finished an amazing week of OGAP Additive Reasoning training with our emerging BBMC’s! They learned about progressions, strategies, looked at student work, determined next instructional steps, and the list goes on and on! So proud of their hard work and dedication to the teachers and students of our region! Let’s finish strong!!!
