Issa reintroduction AND THE VIBE IS RAE!

So… I disappeared for a minute. But let me tell you why.

SamCol by Hicks was born during a wild storm—postpartum depression, COVID, and injustice that felt too loud to ignore. I needed peace. So I created it. My own little world of pins, purpose, and power.

But healing? Yeah… I thought I was doing it. Instead, I was just overworking.
Still teaching full-time.
Still mommin’ to toddlers.
Still trying to be a present wife.
And trying to run a brand on fumes.

I was doing everything—except resting.

So I took a break. A real one.

Now I’m back. And the vibe? It’s Rae.
We’re talking chillin, unbothered, in-my-bag-and-in-my-bed-at-a-decent-hour energy.
No more hustle. Just healing, creating, and vibing with intention.

Yes, the pins are still here.
The online bookstore? Launching this summer.
Courses for truth-tellers and culture shifters? Coming too.
Projects? Cooking quietly. No pressure, just presence.

This new chapter? It’s not about proving anything. It’s about being.
Being joyful. Being honest. Being whole.
