It was truly an honor to sponsor the 2026 Troy Nutrition Center Pom Night for the elders of Troy, Alabama. What an amazing evening filled with laughter, joy, fellowship, and plenty of dancing! The seniors definitely showed us they still know how to have a great time and light up the dance floor.

We were also honored with the opportunity to select the Prince and Princess of the Prom. Congratulations to Prince George McClendon and Princess Barbara Atwell on being crowned tonight’s winners!

A special thank Ms. Nikki Scott, all the great dancers, attendees, and especially the brothers who came out to support and honor our beloved seniors. Nights like this remind us how important it is to celebrate and appreciate those who paved the way before us.

The Troy Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. honored our Senior Kappas, brothers 60 years of age and older, during our May 17, 2026, chapter meeting.

Pictured are Brothers Ernest Powe, Daron Fayson, and Melvin Smith.

Not pictured are Brothers Jerome Solomon, Dr. Allan Dunlap, and Mitch McQuire.

We appreciate these good brothers and celebrate the wisdom, experience, and example they continue to bring to the chapter.

And while they may be considered “senior” Kappas… they’re really just more seasoned and still fly!
