Why did you choose to major in Music?
"I chose music because I can't see myself doing anything else. Music had always been my passion and my safe place. Music has saved my life many times and I want to give the gift of music to the world through my own pieces and performances. I also feel my dad, a musician who had passed away, almost any time I play. He lives through me in the music I perform. I feel my calling in this life is to spread the joy of music and maybe I can save someone else feeling down, like music has for me."
