It has been 20 years since our GLD exploration of leadership in the 21st century began. We continue to be inspired by our Alumni, their learning communities and the work they are doing in the world. If you are a graduate of the MA in Leadership program please join us on Saturday, June 4, 2022 from 1 - 4 pm for:

Looking Back:
Celebrate two decades of leadership learning
Reconnect with your cohort and faculty
Share how your leadership practice has evolved
Cheer for the latest graduates

After over two decades of service at the Oakland Police Department, Master of Arts in Leadership alumnus Deputy Chief Nishant Joshi '16 will be sworn in as the new Chief of Police in Alameda.

“My education at SMC was truly life changing. Unlike traditional educational programs, my experience at SMC went beyond institutional learning. I have learned so much more about myself and am better prepared to serve others.”

After over two decades of service at the Oakland Police Department, Master of Arts in Leadership alumnus Deputy Chief Nishant Joshi '16 will be sworn in as the new Chief of Police in Alameda.

Successful completion of this program will provide you with in-depth and practical knowledge in the Hall-Tonna Values Development System. Completing Level I Accreditation qualifies you to administer and interpret the Hall-Tonna Values Assessments for individuals.

Thank you! To all our alumni in the front lines including our police, fire, small business owners, and all of our first responders. Many of which are MA in Leadership grads.
