A snapshot from our "petting zoo" session during the last Summer Arts Academy. In addition to the regular SATB, the sax students got to honk out some sounds on the Sopranino and BASS saxophones as well!

Check out the Summer Arts Academy!
Not only is it a blast, you get a sneak preview of what it’s like to be in college… living in the dorms with friends and eating at the campus dining halls etc. We spend several hours together each day in SAX lessons/ensembles/masterclasses and there are tons of fun activities throughout the week! We’ll also have a “petting zoo” session on our last day where you get to try all the different saxes we have here (Sopranino, Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bari, AND BASS)!

Huge Congratulations to our very own Connor Robinette! Connor was offered a FULL RIDE scholarship to continue his studies at the graduate level. He will be studying with the once-beloved-MSU-sax-professor-and-still-great-friend Dr. Matt Taylor at the University of Central Arkansas. Way to go Conner! We wish you all the best.
p.s. he is also engaged to be married (double congrats!)

Huge congratulations to our very own Josh Herrera on receiving a rare FULL RIDE offer to pursue graduate studies in saxophone at the prestigious Cincinnati Conservatory of Music! Josh is currently student teaching and will graduate with a Bachelor's in music education in just a few weeks. Way to make us proud Josh, have a great time at CCM!
