The MSU Collegiate Recovery Resource Center was honored to participate in the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education Climbing Forward: Securing the Future of CLIMB and CRRCs convening at the Marriot Griffin Gate earlier this week. Brynn DeLuca served as the student panel moderator while Hannah Pratt and Jaxon Emerson represtened the MSU CRRC on the panel. MSU CRRC Coordinator, Lindsay Horseman, presented a look back at the first year successes of the program and goals for the future.

Join us in congratulating Byrnn DeLuca and Hannah Pratt who graduated today with honors and earned Bachelor of Social Work degrees! Hannah and Brynn each completed 400(+) hours for their senior practicum with the CRRC. Their contribution this semester helped to establish the foundation of our efforts at MSU.
Brynn was also awarded the Oustanding Student Award for the Morehead campus social work cohort!
Both are headed to the University of Kentucky MSW Advanced Standing program.

The MSU CRRC:
✔️Hosted a Happy Hour Mocktail Bar
✔️Conducted a Recovery Ally Training
✔️Presented a workshop for Student Support Services
✔️Fully operational in 114 Rader
✔️Offered Midweek Meditation on Wednesdays
✔️Scheduled 2 SMART Recovery meetings
✔️Outreach at 2 SOAR events
✔️Provided education for Alcohol Awareness Month
✔️Recorded with MSU Public Radio
✔️Awarded funding for 2 MORE YEARS!
We look forward to growing and continuing to serve! Thank you to everyone who has helped, volunteered and supported.
