✨Student Spotlight✨

🩷Meet Heathen Groat! They are a senior in our Nail Technology program right here at Morgantown Beauty College. They’d like to share a few things:

“My name is Heathen Annslyi Groat and I’m 37 years old. I’ve played with nails as a hobby for over 10 years now and thought it was about time to make it official. So here I am, graduating nail tech school, ready for whatever comes next!

In my “spare” time, if there is such a thing, I am also a mom to 3, soon to be 4 kids and 1 angel baby. They are part of it not all of my motivation to continue to better myself even as I age. I love to learn and this is now one more thing I can add to my resume of life and check off the bucket list.

I’m also an avid tarot card reader and teacher, I love to tutor I young children and do basically anything that might be considered crafty - paint, crochet, garden, etc - as well aa anything one might consider witchy, or spiritual - divination, divine rituals, spell work, etc.

My experience with MBC has been amazing and im sad for it to end! I’ve made new friendships and hopefully lifelong connections I can carry on into the next steps of my life... which might even include instructing at some point! *wink*”

✨Student Spotlight✨

🩶Meet Alyssa Weekley! She is a senior in our Esthetics program right here at Morgantown Beauty College. She’d like to share a few things:

“My name is Alyssa Weekley and I’m from West Union, WV. I’m a 22-year-old equestrian and a stage 4 neuroblastoma cancer survivor! I’m graduating from the Esthetics program. I chose this program because I want to help people feel relaxed and make people feel beautiful with their skin! My favorite service is eyelash lifts! Some facts about me is that I’ve been cancer free for 19 + years and I’ve been riding horses since I was basically out of the womb! One of my horses recently just had a beautiful Philly named ViVi. Horses have shaped me into the person who I am today, Silly, Smart, and Determined! My favorite memory of MBC is making new friends and learning how to make funny TikTok’s together. My favorite part about being an MBC student is having the creative freedom to learn new things and practice as much as I want! Not really sure where I may end up, but hopefully looking into going to Tuscan Sun Spa once I graduate!”
