Our third and final senior is Ally Kroon!

Hi, I’m Ally Kroon and I’m from Reston, Virginia! I’ve had the love for horses since I was 2 years old and have been riding ever since. I found SUNY Morrisville through a groom at my barn back at home and decided to look into it and instantly fell in love with how hands on everything is. I am dual majoring in Huntseat and Breeding & Youngstock Management. Although breeding is still quite new to me (as I’ve only done it for about 2.5 years) it has become my biggest passion and I am super excited to be interning at Lindy Farms in Somers, CT. I thank everyone that has pushed me to where I am today, especially Dr Day and Mike Mazza.

We are grateful you joined breeding when attending SUNY Morrisville. Good luck to you on your next adventure! You will be missed.

Our second senior up is Samantha Bright! She is dueling in both Breeding and Rehabilitation at Sunny Morrisville.

We will Miss you Sam and we wish you luck on your next adventure. We know you will accomplish big things!

We want to give a big shout out to Bryn Zionkowski and Ryder! Bryn is going into her senior year at SUNY Morrisville this fall majoring in Breeding and dueling in western. She is currently interning this summer with the western program and doing an amazing job showing Ryder. He is a Morrisville bred western horse. It was not that long ago that Ryder was just a tiny foal in the breeding barn. He has grown up so much and we couldn’t have imagined a more perfect pair to be showing together. We are so proud of you both and love watching your teamwork and progress! The best of luck to both of you on your show season.

Foaling Season 2025 has just completed! These are just a few of our favorite pictures. We had a total of 12 foals born. From that 12 we had, 8 Standardbreds, 3 Quarter Horses, and 1 Warmblood. We also had the amazing opportunity to have an orphan foal join the crew and is thriving back at home!
