Alayah is currently 10 years old and in 2017 when she was 3 she went to Disneyworld!

After ringing the bell she has now been giving back to Make-A-Wish through her own fundraiser! “Alayah started her Carousel Rideathon Fundrauser for in 2021 as part of their ‘Wish Hero’s’ campaign. The idea behind the campaign is that anyone can be a ‘wish hero’ and help make wishes come true. We continued this idea with Alayah’s fundraiser. All you have to do to make a wish come true is ride a carousel! We gather for a weekend and ride to raise money for local wishes. Riding the carousel at Give Kids the World was her favorite part of her wish so it really tied back into the very essence of her own wish that she received in 2017. Riding the carousel brings us all back to a moment in our childhoods and that is a small part of what wishes do for medically complex children, it brings a piece of their childhood back to them that they may have lost in all of their treatments and illnesses.”

Alayah’s fundraiser will take place April 5th,6th, and 7th this year and we hope to everyone there as is committed to being there and supporting Alayah and everyone who is apart of
