Hello CSU VSA,
I hope everyone is enjoying their Winter Break and the last day/night of 2014. I wish everyone a spectacular New Year Eve to welcome another outstanding year!
Our fall semester started at a relatively slow pace to readjust administratively, however look forward to spring semester to be plentiful of VSA events as we are collectively participating in this year's philanthropy project. This year we are supporting Food.Aid&Compassion with VIETA with a goal to provide water treatment system in Vietnam. This will help combat the alarming arsenic level in drinking water and reduce water borne diseases.
As a proud tradition, we will be hosting our Annual Charity Dinner this spring. The executive board and I are working rigorously to get the event to be approved. We will provide more information when the administrative process is completed, however, please contact Tram Mai, our secretary, if you or someone you know wish to perform.
Also, our fellow VSA at UGA is hosting a New Year dinner at Rustic Couch on Satureday, 3 January 2015, at 7:00 PM. A percentage of your meal will go towards the charity and prepare for their Night In Saigon event on 17 January in Athens. After the dinner, we will be able to get to know more of our members at a karaoke. If you wish to attend, please contact me and we can arrange transportation.
Again, I wish you all another outstanding new year, and I am looking forward to work with everyone in our up coming events.
