🌟 Feature Friday: Student Spotlight 🌟
We’re proud to celebrate the incredible achievements of our Clayton State College of Business students at the 2026 Society for Advancement of Management (SAM) International Collegiate Business Skills Championship!
Competing in the open division against undergraduate and graduate teams nationwide, our standout team—Hailey Long (SAM President), Yulianny Matias Medina, and Dania Flores-Rivera—represented Clayton State with excellence.
🏆 Team Highlights:
• 3rd Place – Overall Team Championship (Open Division)
• 2nd Place – Campus Chapter Performance Program (Small Chapter Division)
🏅 Individual Honors:
• Hailey Long – 1st Place, Extemporaneous Speech
• Hailey Long – 3rd Place, Individual Grand Championship
• Hailey Long – International Outstanding Student Award (top honor, sole recipient this year)
• Yulianny Matias Medina – National Outstanding Student Award
• Dania Flores-Rivera – Regional Outstanding Student Award
Our students demonstrated professionalism, teamwork, and leadership throughout the competition, building meaningful connections and representing Clayton State at the highest level.
A special thank you to Dr. Reza Kheirandish and Dr. Stacey Reynolds, whose leadership, mentorship, and dedication as advisors of the CSU SAM chapter played a critical role in preparing and supporting our students for success.
