Did you miss last week's info session on the UI-HU Mega Exchange? If so, no worries, as a second one will be held this Wednesday, Oct. 14, 4pm, in Admin 326. The Mega Exchange will send around 30 U of I students to Hiroshima University this May to study peace and sustainability and to tour the historic city and region of Japan. The cost of the program is very low for the selected students, thanks to the generosity of donors. So, what are you waiting for, come to the info session and find out more!

It's not too early to start thinking about your Spring 2027 schedule. Check out these amazing Asian Studies classes, taught by some of the best teachers in the PNW. You can't go wrong!

And, if you haven't yet, why not add an Asian Studies minor? Just 3 semesters of Chinese or Japanese, or an approved semester abroad, plus three more classes. Fun, easy(ish), and looks great on a resume!

The UI-HU Mega Exchange is back for a second year! Thanks to the generosity of donors, U of I students have the opportunity to spend ten days in Hiroshima studying peace and sustainability at little cost to themselves. Students with majors in the College of Letters, Arts and Social Sciences, or the College of Natural Resources, or with an Asian Studies minor are invited to apply.
