How many 1970 Berry graduates spent a quarter in the Home Management House (Catherine Cottage)? In this log house built by the boys at the boys school, many of us spent time refinishing and upholstering furniture, planning and cooking meals for ourselves and guests at the college while taking our full class loads. I remember practicing the "Charleston" in the living room in preparation for the Miss Berry pageant.

Who has a Home Ec story to share? What about when the soccer team ate our the cakes we had prepared for our class final?

We were told by the principal that our skirts were too short; guess he didn't know about fashion in 1970.
