EMSP education host the first responder academy for KDC through NTCC Continuing Education every year

The last four days kids the participants learned what a first responder is, CPR, how to treat sports injuries by NTCC human performance and Aalthletic Traininer Justin Hargrove, ems operations from Titus Regional EMS Wade Cannon and fire safety from the Mount Pleasant Fire Department

A career in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is both challenging and rewarding. EMS personnel have the knowledge and skills to provide pre-hospital medical care for people who are ill or injured.

EMS education student club raises funds to offset the costs of things that are not covered by tuition.

One of the largest costs is the licensing and certification fees through the National Registry and the State of Texas after they graduate. Testing and certification fees range from $ 200-500 depending on the level of certification.

East Texas Giving Day brings the region together as one community, raising money and awareness for our local nonprofits. The 18-hour online giving challenge officially happens on April 30, 2024, but you can start your impact today by making a donation to one of the participating nonprofits.

NTCC offices will open at 10 a.m. and classes will begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 17th due to continued icy road conditions. Classes scheduled before this time will not meet on this day.

Students enrolled in online/hybrid courses may access coursework through their Blackboard account. If weather where you live prevents you from being able to drive safely, please contact your instructor or supervisor to make individual arrangements.
