Rhymer spent his time mentoring children, learning Spanish, and making an impact with the Valpo Surf Project. At CMU, Graduate student Sam Bujak is building her future in audiology through hands-on research and clinical experience. As an audiology graduate student, she is studying how loudness perception while wearing hearing aids affects speech outcomes across the spectrum of hearing loss, helping address gaps in existing research. Through coursework, clinical experiences and mentorship, she is developing the skills needed to make an impact in hearing science.
