This year for Central Paws was rough, but we learned, adapted and made the most out of every situation! To end the semester we hosted a puppy social to meet with our members and take a break from our studies. It was a great time and it was so good to see everyone🐶🐱🐾 We will see you all in the fall and have a great summer!☀️☀️

*Masks and social distancing were applied during this event, just not the pictures.*

Pet fees are an important payment that ensure your new friend is taken care of! In this chart, we break down what your cat's adoption fee covers and how much you can save by adopting at a shelter. Recycled cans or bottles piling up? They can help our shelter! We'd be happy to take your recycled cans or bottles off your hands and recycle them at a later date to help support our animals. Now-May 1st only!
👉Cans can be dropped off at the animal shelter front door (prefer in garbage bag or box of some sort) OR we have a supportive board member willing to pick up from front porches with zero in person contact if you are not capable of driving them to the shelter.
🌟Pick-up service is only for homes within 10 minutes of the City of Mount Pleasant. Email [email protected] if you require pick-up 🌟
👉The shelter is located at 1105 S Isabella Rd, Mt. Pleasant, MI. We recommend dropping off donations at the front door any day before 1pm so they can be retrieved by staff.

Students are welcome to stay as long as they’d like, even if it’s only for ten minutes or for the full hour-and-a-half. Bigard said students should not feel awkward coming in alone.
