CHI PHI WAS FOUNDED on the basis of Truth, Honor, and Personal Integrity. These are timeless values, which guide the fundamental purposes of the Fraternity. As with all dynamic organizations, there is a need to maintain relevancy in the lives of our members and society in general. To that end, Chi Phi has renewed its commitment to the founding values expressed in our ritual: Truth, Honor, and Pers

onal Integrity. At the same time, Chi Phi has begun to explore a modern set of evolving core values, which can be used to guide our daily activities and functions. These core values offer contemporary definitions of the values that drive Chi Phi:

• FRIENDSHIP – We will engage in mutually enriching relationships.
• RESPECT – We will respect each other, the Fraternity, society, and ourselves.
• HONESTY – We will interact in an open and truthful way.
• RESPONSIBILITY – We will fulfill our moral expectations as individuals and as a group.
• COMMITMENT – We will accomplish more than what is expected of us.
• PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT – We will build better men, better leaders, and better citizens.

The brothers of ΧΦ stand behind the phrase “these hands don’t haze”. We would like to use our platforms to raise awareness on the severity of hazing. The act of hazing is not condoned in our chapter nor will it ever be. Hazing is not a process in building better men.

This past weekend, brothers Matthew Schultz, Cain Thornsbury, and Sean Patten attended the Chi Phi Alphas & Thetas Academy. The three were able to gain leadership skills as well as educate others with their leadership experiences. Thank you to for hosting our brothers and gifting them with a ton of knowledge to apply to our chapter!

Brother of the month for March goes to . Josh is one of our founding fathers and acted as President from 2017 to 2018 and his efforts were indispensable in giving our colony life and getting it off the ground. He has brought the same tenacity and effort to his current role as Historian. This past month, he has done a fantastic job carrying out ceremonies for our Spring 2019 new member class. In addition to his duties as Historian, he has also worked as Greek Week chair and spent many hours coordinating and planning our Greek Week.
