As we continue celebrating Cornell Athletics’ 2026 Hall of Fame class, we're proud to feature the second inductee, Alex Coolidge ’14. Alex will be inducted during C Club Breakfast and joins a distinguished group of Cornell athletes whose accomplishments have left a lasting impact.

Coolidge won the national wrestling championship at 197 pounds on March 15, 2014, becoming Cornell’s first NCAA champion in 24 years. He was runner-up at the 2013 NCAA Championships and also qualified for nationals in 2012. Help us congratulate Alex on this well-deserved honor!

Homecoming Convocation highlights both the 50th reunion class and alumni award recipients each year. The Alumni and College Advancement Office is pleased to share information about this year’s alumni award winners and recognize their contributions to Cornell and beyond.

Our first alumni award feature is Jim Swift ’76, who is also a member of this year’s 50th reunion class. Swift is receiving one of the Distinguished Achievement Awards as he is an internationally respected oral and maxillofacial surgeon, educator, and researcher. A tenured professor at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, he has authored more than 100 publications and has led major professional organizations in dentistry and surgery. A dedicated mentor, volunteer, and Cornell Trustee, Swift has advanced patient care, dental education, and scientific research throughout a distinguished career.

Join us in congratulating Swift on this well-deserved honor in the comments, and attend Homecoming Convocation to see him receive his award.

Each year during Homecoming weekend, Cornell Athletics inducts a new Hall of Fame class at the signature C Cub Breakfast. To celebrate and honor this year’s inductees, we’ll be featuring each member of the Hall of Fame class.

Our first inductee is Rikki Mulloy Trombley ’15. Trombley is Cornell’s only basketball player named first-team All-Conference four times. The guard is listed 32 times in Cornell’s record books, including 1,478 career points, a school record that stands today. Join us in congratulating Rikki on this well-deserved honor!
