MUSIC GROUPS IN THE MOUNT VERNON NAZARENE UNIVERSITY MUSIC DEPARTMENT
All the MVNU Music Department music ensembles (choral and instrumental) are open to the entire student body. CHORAL GROUPS include Collegians Chorale, Treble Singers Women’s Choir and Una Voce Chamber Choir. CHOIR AUDITIONS happen Sunday afternoon, August 30 as part of New Student Institute. This is open to ALL students (new and returning) regardless of major. Signups and instructions for the choral auditions can be found at this link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090B44A5AC28A5FB6-65034653-mvnu #/ Contact Dr. Bob Tocheff at [email protected] with questions.

The INSTRUMENTAL GROUPS do not have auditions, and offer excellent opportunities to play in outstanding groups such as Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, Flute Choir, String Ensemble and Pep Band. Contact Dr. John Packard at [email protected] with questions. And it is possible to participate in both choral and instrumental groups.
Don't miss out on this excellent way to connect in meaningful ways for both musical and ministry opportunities.
